Coney Island Descent by David Levine - Cork Back Coaster

David Levine painted at Coney Island for 50 years, past its heyday, capturing the decaying rides, the shops and the crowds that continued to fill the beach and boardwalk.  "Descent Into Coney," reproduced on this coaster, recalls a day when the boardwalk rose above the beach at Coney Island, where staircases separated the two worlds and another world was created underneath.
