David Levine painted at Coney Island for 50 years, past its heyday, capturing the decaying rides, the shops and the crowds that continued to fill the beach and boardwalk. The painting printed on this shirt was titled "End of Joy." The fading majesty of the Thunderbolt rollercoatser -- which he painted more than any other ride at Coney -- and the hint that someone still lives there, in its shadow, remind us of the moments we all encounter, finding beauty within the ordinary.
Made to have a boxy fit and a notch lapel collar that are perfect for any laidback scenario, these shirts come with a handy chest pocket and a 95% polyester and 5% spandex fabric for silky comfort. Choose between black or white buttons & customize it to taste.
